Bushmen Safaris is in South Africa's Limpopo Province, and the area stands proud as the hunting capital of South Africa with millions and millions of acres of land dedicated to conserved ranches and reserves. A vast indigenous habitat ranging from spectacular forests to rugged mountains, the Limpopo Province supports the incredible choice of species available for Africa plains game hunting. The area is known for the greater kudu it produces each season with a top 10 trophy being within every hunter's reach. Southern impala, common waterbuck, blue wildebeest, klipspringer, Limpopo bushbuck and eland are found in abundance as well with excellent trophies recorded each season. Bushmen Safaris offers an exciting array of species selection, and we are proud to call the Limpopo Province home.

In the hearts and minds of many bow hunters, South Africa is the ultimate hunting destination in all of Africa as hunters from all over the world visit the country to experience Africa plains game hunting. The plains games species include animals unique to southern Africa such as the kudu, impala, warthog, black wildebeest, blesbok, waterbuck, blue wildebeest, and Nyala. The number of species that one is allowed to hunt in South Africa is unmatched anywhere else in the world. Hunting in South Africa is possible all year round, but because of the summer heat and rain, the best and most popular period is from April to September.

Limpopo is South Africa’s northernmost province and borders onto Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Botswana, making it the ideal entrance to Africa. Named after the great Limpopo River that flows along its northern border, this province is rich in spectacular scenery and offers a wealth of historical and cultural treasures. With modern infrastructure, you will travel on fast, safe roads and enjoy every modern amenity. Known as the Great North, Limpopo is land of legend. Ruins and relics abound in ancient forests, sparkling trout waters, hot mineral springs and waterfalls. Much of it has remained unchanged for centuries, offering unlimited opportunities in Limpopo for the enjoyment of untamed Africa.

Limpopo is united in its aim to offer the best possible welcome to all who visit this spectacular region of South Africa. The northern section of the Kruger National Park, which is in Limpopo, is renowned for its large herds of elephant buffalo, significant numbers of tsessebe and sable and a rich bird life. On the park's western border, excellent privately owned game reserves and lodges like Bushmen Safaris offer luxurious, air-conditioned accommodation and the opportunity for Africa plains game hunting.
